Angel

Angel

I've been a busy bee updating my onine social and business networks using my new iPhone.

Considering I have never been that into these sites, my new iPhone has got me to update all my Facebook and Twitter pages. I guess I'm just a sucker for gizmos but there is something really cool about updating your pages verbally with your phone.

If anyone fancies popping to these sites and following/joining me then feel free. The more the merrier!

Orange blossom

Orange blossom

We have spent the day working out different parts of our wedding.

Who would have thought something meant to bring us so much joy could be so tiring to do!? And this is the point where Nik says she did most of the work.

On the plus side, we have finished for the night so we are going to chill out, watch a film and take onboard some excellent snacks. There is just enough time to post this shot. Not the most interesting shot I have ever taken but I really like the colour. See what you think.

The mummy

The mummy

I must admit I have been rather busy of late sorting out all manner of things including my new iPhone, which rocks.

These bits of kit are fantastic and I can't recommend them enough, especially if, like me, you're into Apple kit.

The phone is fast, the apps are brilliant and the O2 coverage isn't bad although not quite up to Orange's standard. To be honest if the handset had been available on Orange I wouldn't have moved as, over the years, they have been pretty good.

Neil, Neil…

Neil, Neil…

It's mid-week and I have just about recovered from my Stag Doo, (hic) thanks guys, top times!

I was pretty tired after all the partying, but yesterday it really hit me for some reason. I guess it was a delayed reaction to all the various imbibed goodness that was had.

I've had a quick look through my snaps and there's nothing too exciting in there; as everything got interesting I forgot to take any snaps, which is one of the hazards of having a good time, I guess!?

Big and small

Big and small

This shot if for the Photo Friday website.

I haven't a great deal of time tonight so I'm posting this shot quickly. There's lots to sort out before the weekend as I'm off to Brighton to see the dudes for my Stag Weekend.

Hopefully next week I will still be in one piece - enough to maybe post some shots from the weekend's antics!

Silent, watching

Silent, watching

I had a late one last night playing poker so have only just managed to get on the computer to post anything.

This shot is from the Louvre of one of the pieces of stonework. I liked the way the near character has her fingers to her lips, echoing the silence of the gallery (or at least for the room we were in when I took the shot).

So much for the weather forecast. I'm not complaining, just explaining why I am not sitting here typing more for today's entry. I'm off for a bit of quality UV.

Wonka's garden

Wonka's garden

You would be forgiven for thinking this shot an HDR shot.

It isn't, it is just something I was playing around with in LAB colour mode. I've not much to say on it other than that. It was made with a combination of curve alterations in LAB, altering colour and saturation, targeting specific areas of the shot with masks.
