Noo

Noo

Today's shot is of my wife on our honeymoon in Crete.

She is simply the most kind, beautiful, generous, interesting person I know; which is kind of why I married her. I think she likes this shot too so that should make her happy.

I think this photograph goes well with this one of me.

All our autumns

All our autumns

I've not much to say about this shot other than I snapped it while up Beacon Hill with my wife.

The long nights draw in and there is a whisper of a chill in the air.

Hail the tower

Hail the tower

Before you say it Malc, I know it's a chimney!

It just doesn't sound right to call the photograph 'Hail the Chimney', does it?

Orangutan

Orangutan

For some reason today I am feeling a little delicate.

It seems my enthusiasm for my friday evening got the better of me and I'm paying for it today.

As for reasons for today's shot? This is actually another photo Rik took which I have processed. My wife noticed the shot when I was going through her brother's photos and I thought she would appreciate a finished version. That and the fact that the orangutan looks pretty much how I feel at the moment. ;)

Spreading happiness

Spreading happiness

Here's a quick shot tonight - it's another from our wedding, this time of Rik and Luce.

I've not much else to say. I'm feeling very tired so I'm calling it a night early.

Still standing

Still standing

No one was more surprised than the demolition team that the Timken steel mill towers didn't fall after they detonated explosives at their base.

As you can see from this, in the end they pushed them over but everyone was hoping for something a bit more dramatic.

Best men

Best men

I haven't anything new so I have processed this shot taken by my mum at the wedding.

There were a few problems with the shot, some of which I could help a little (like exposure), others less so (detail in the shot).

I'm posting it because I like the relaxed pose from the guys, far easier than in some formals earlier in the day (we had a few drinks in us at this point).
