Happy Peaches

Happy Peaches

I know, I know — these close-up baby shots are getting a bit boring now.

I couldn't resist this one from this morning. Emily was so happy getting her photo taken I just had to process this shot.

I had a great time on Sunday at the Tiger's stadium in Leicester.

I took along the D800 and from the stands took a fair few shots of the sports action.

Considering one of the main weaknesses of the camera being its max frame rate, I found it very easy to anticipate the action. It could be because I'm used to balancing 6/fps (from my previous camera, the D200), it wasn't that alien to not have your camera go off like a gatling gun.

Well it's the last day of my weeklong PAD.

I forget how hectic trying to make time to post a photo can be. A bit like working around today's model, or moggle, should I say? Although, I should report, she's no diva. She was a very good girl!

Even though it's the last PAD for the moment, I'm sure it's not the last we'll see of Ms Peach.

I have just enough time (and energy) to post a shot tonight.

I'm up early to race so no late night photo sessions!

Here's a shot from my walk into work this morning.

I love the detail the D800 picks up. Of course you can't really appreciate it on web images, but trust me, it rocks!

More from my girls for today's PAD.

I'm going to walk into work tomorrow morning and I'll take my D800 along to see what snaps I can get.

Bathtime is always fun in our house.

At least Emily gets to keep her head out of the water (mostly), unlike swimtime, when Emily got totally submerged.

That didn't go down at all well!
