What a fabulous weekend!
We popped to Stonehurst Farm for lunch, then over to Quorn Park for a play on the swings. That is Nik and I went with Rik, Luce and Lexi. We had a wail of a time!
And, as usual, I brought the trusty Nikon.
I caught 'The Hills' as they were making their way out of the park. I'm kind of kicking myself I didn't react sooner. When they first began, they were by a really big tree which framed them in the foreground, but I'm not too disappointed as I love the fact that I caught Rik and Luce in sync with their footsteps. :)
I'm just about getting away with posting this shot.
My daughter stirs in the next bedroom and I'm clicking and typing away as quietly as I can.
A change of pace for today's shot. I decided to finally process something from our holiday. This was taken on the first morning we drew into port, having been at sea for three days. You can't see it, because the island is off to the left and behind me as I took this shot, but Madeira was just starting to be illuminated in the first rays of the morning.
More from my little angel!
This time the shot is from Old Hunstanton, where we went visiting on one of the hottest days of the year so far. It wasn't a problem, Emily Peaches spent a great deal of time in the seawater pools in her UV suit, and so kept very cool. She did march up and down the beach, giving me enough time to take a photo.
