I did find time, between all my chores on Sunday, to run in the countryside again near where I live.

Our running route went from Swithland to Bradgate Park and back. As in weeks before, as I was running, I noticed some beautiful spots that I wanted to photograph. Not having my camera with me (and I did contemplate running with it but it is just not a great idea) I had to trek back after the run. It's funny but I always feel great after a run but if I walk back out to take photos along the run's route I always feel beat afterwards. Weird!?

I must admit I do love jogging at the moment (never thought I would say it). I get to see all these hidden places in the countryside near me that I otherwise might easily miss out on.

Which brings me to tonight's shot. It is from Bradgate park, at the top end near Old John, looking down on the forest with Cropston Reservoir in the distance.

For your information the shot was processed and desaturated with a Photoshop action. I then did the usual tweaking, sharpening and using of adjustment layers to finish the overall tone of the shot.
