The Tunnel

This is the shot from Le Metro that I wasn't sure whether I would post or not.

It's not that I don't like the shot. It was just I hadn't got it where I wanted creatively. I was trying to go for a moody, gritty shot of the French underground. Something that would look at home in a film noir.

I chose the 'noir' style because of the fantastic green light given off by the underground's lighting, as read by my camera's white balance. It just gave me that seedy, underground feeling.

I have tweaked the shot a wee bit now and added some noise which I think helps it a little. See if you think I have achieved that 'noir' look. As ever I would love to read your opinions (as long as they're good. Just kidding! ;)  )

Tomorrow is the Summer Spectacular so I will be shooting for most of the day there, then it's off to my boss's house for a barbeque. Groovy! :)
