This shot today is for my weekly entry for VFXY's website titled 'Vacation', and to remind me that my holiday is not far off.
This is an old shot from the bay of Los Gigantes, in the Hotel of the same name that Nik and I have been to a few times before. It's lovely and quiet there, which isn't really suited for families with children, but perfect for us. That part of Tenerife is beautiful and not all like the Las Americas parts further south, although some areas there can be nice.
I am really looking forward to getting away. It seems like an age since NIk and I actually went on holiday, though as usual I could do without the flying.
As for the shot itself. It was taken on the balcony looking over the back area of the hotel above the seawater pool. In the distance you can see the hotel Barcelo which we almost stayed at for this years holiday. The processing was straight forward: I used Capture One as usual with minimal tweaking in Photoshop.
