Ruins of Midas

I decided to stop running and take a shot here, part way between Desford and Newbold Verdon.

If you are wondering about the title; the bales looked to me like great columns that you find in ancient ruins. These, scattered across the field, could have once upheld the roof of a great palace to King Midas, coloured by his own hand. At least that's what I imagined as I processed the shot.

It was a great run today, despite the heat. The pace wasn't ground breaking, but it never tends to be when you run offroad.
