We had a wonderful time at Ferry Meadows in Peterborough today.

It seems for the last few weeks we have had an abundance of festivals, carnivals, rides, trips and shows to go to; something to do with the Summer holidays, I imagine?! :)

I thought I'd catch a few shots of Emily enjoying herself. Rather than go for the more usual fast shutter speed and freeze the action, I thought I'd try a spot of panning at low speeds today.

It is a little tricky to get the sharp points in the photo while allowing everything else to blur but I think this shot works well enough.

Great technique dude, not

Great technique dude, not easy at 1/20s!

Luck, more than skill, I'm afraid. And about ten goes.
