Jesus steps

I took this shot in Leicester one weekend, when I drove in especially to shoot some photos around town.

Most of the shots I came back with that day were pretty uninspiring. I noticed these stairs in a back alleyway, surrounded by urban debris, with the graffiti scrawled above it. Something interested me about this collection of items, though I wasn't sure what and when I got back home and looked over the capture I didn't think that much to it. It was only recently that, looking over the old RAWs, that I again saw what attracted me the day I took the shot. Isn't it strange when that happens?

I also think the HDR treatment adds to the shot. I made it with 3 shots, 1 stop apart, then combined and tweaked in Photomatric Pro and finished in Photoshop.

I wouldn't really class that as "graffiti" but i see where your coming from.
Also where do those stairs go? is it somewhere secret like in Harry Potter? Or do people in Leicester like walking upstairs into walls?!

Sports Centre

If you look closely you'll see the steps are clearly the entrance to the sports centre?!? I've heard Hermione works out there...
