Today's photograph is for the weekly theme at VFXY.
I am off in a moment to run another 5km (like last Sunday) so I shall be brief.
The shot is from a set of photos I took of a swan in Swithland near where I live. Typing this reminds me I wanted to see if I could integrate a location reference option to my blog for Google. That way when people visit and see a shot they could also see where the photo was taken. I must investigate further.
Back to the photo. This swan kindly glided around in front of me while I snapped away one morning, until a male arrived and attacked her (to mate). It was all very brutal and I just stood there, snapping away (not that I could or should have intervened).
Anyway enjoy the photo – I am off to run like Forest Gump. 'Run Matty, run!' ;) (Hey, that's similar to the title of yesterday's blog. Once again the cosmic tumblers click into place).
