Pippa's balloon

It occurred to me that I hadn’t posted a portrait shot in quite a while so here one is.

I haven’t really taken anything new so I had to delve into the archive for some inspiration. Not being a parent I have no children to photograph, though I hope to some day; this is of course presuming they don’t get utterly sick of the prospect of dad getting out his Nikon all the time.

This shot is from work I did in a village near me. The parents at a local community group wanted their children photographing, something I had done previous years with great success.

This little girl’s name was Pippa, I think. She played with the balloon for what seemed like ages and I got some great shots. It has been so long since I took the photo I bet she looks nothing like this any more.
