Nik and Thom

This is a photo of my friend NIk, who I grew up with in Peterborough, with his son Thom.

NIk and I were in London over the weekend as it was my friend Minty's birthday.

I usually don't like London very much (as a place to live. It's great to visit). I was, however, pleasantly surprised by Canary Wharf. The place has a really great feeling about it. It's not too oppressive, considering you are surrounded at times by some pretty immense buildings. It is very safe, with security wandering around and, as you would expect, it has great restaurants and bars.

Yesterday there was much fun had as we partied, celebrating my friend's 35th (I can't even remember mine. How crap is that?). Consequently I feel a little tender today but not bad considering I probably blew my weeks worth of alcohol units in one evening.

I have taken some other shots around the Wharf, some of which I may process at a later date, but I really wanted to get one picture of Nik and his son up straight away.
