Meta-galactic Llama

Yes, you have read today's title correctly.

I suppose I should elaborate?

Now this will give my age away a little here. A long time ago, in a city far, far away, I had a ZX Spectrum and there used to be a man called Jeff Minter who had an unusual fixation with Llamas. Electronically speaking. He wrote so many games with Llamas in the theme and I had a few of them.

The title for today's blog is Meta-Galactic Llamas, which was a title of one of this games Jeff wrote along with others such as Grid Runner, Llamatron, Attack of the Mutant Camels and Revenge of the Mutant Camels. It's a bit of a homage to the Yak. (Yes they still call him that). The picture is actually of a Reindeer from the front of the hotel we stayed in Los Gigantes. Man that holiday seems so far away. Anyway I just thought about the old Llama games so hence the title. Don't ask me why.

**Oh wow! As I was typing this I thought I would have a look to see if Jeff is still around and low and behold Llamasoft is still going. Wow! You can check out the Llamasoft blog with details on Jeff whom they still refer to as Yak. Awesome!
