Nik and I went for a 13 mile walk yesterday.
I guess sometimes you just feel like rambling, though why we chose one of the hottest days of the year so far is anyone's guess. It was an extraordinary day and I got the chance to take a few photos, although these were more snaps than thought about shots, as after we'd been out for hours and had only gone a few miles I thought I better quicken the pace.
In this particular shot the light caught my eye between the branches of the woods near Swithland reservoir, more or less at the start of our journey. I'm reasonably happy with the snap. My wife really likes it and who am I to argue with my favourite critic?
On another note I'm feeling reasonably lucky today. My iPhone decided it wanted to play up. The speakers at the bottom stopped working and I kept getting a message telling me the device I was using was not compatible with the phone. How is that lucky, you ask?
Well to cut a long story short, the Highcross Apple store took a look and said that there was some green corrosion on the dock adaptor and gave me a new phone. I'm lucky because my warranty runs out next week. : )
