A storm is coming

Work, work, bloody work… oh, and did I mention work?

Needless to say no prizes for guessing what I have been up to this week. Oh, didn't I mention it?

On the plus side I do have a day off today, which, lashed on to the start of a bank holiday makes for a tidy few days off.

For today's shot it's another golden (well, black and white) oldy.

Great PP work

Hi Mate,

Hope you are having a lovely relaxing day off. Lovely PP work on this, please explain for the benefit of the viewers, your treatment of the sky on this shot!

TX > Ian

Thanks dude

Yeah, the day off was really good (I really needed some time off - I was getting pretty wingy). How's yours? (call me if you fancy a photo trip, even if it's a quick one. I'm wedding shopping today but free after that.)

The PP just involved some dodging and burning on one layer, then altering the transparency so it doesn't look too fake. I then softened the sky and masked it against the foreground which I sharpened (quite a bit) to get it a bit grainy.

Now if you are sitting down – I may actually process a new shot later. I have one of Lorne which I fancy making into a transparent action shot (of him teeing off).
