Aphrodite's tears

It's been another fun filled holiday.

imagi has had a few problems, as I am sure you know if you visited recently.

Firstly, I may have had a few more problems with hackers. There was a malicious file sitting in the folder that my old flash gallery used which had to be removed.

Secondly, my imagi database had some sort of corruption, whether down to a potential 'hack', a few problems with a new version of java script that I use or if something else caused the hiccup, the effect was much the same. imagi was broken, only displayed weird characters when you visited the site.

Consequently I have spent most of my hols sat on the computer (with my friend James) trying to get back to where I was before all this mess started.
I have got back to this point but I have taken the old flash gallery (in the archive section – imagi v3) away which means all the lovely photos I had posted there are not accessible. In the end it was a question of necessity with this being the second time hackers have used the flash slideshow program to gain access to my site. The program itself uses its own form of file upload, like an FTP program, only nowhere near as safe. It had to go.

On the good side it means I will be posting a bit more now, going back through any old photos and uploading ones I particularly like. At least this time around the shots will be so much larger than before.

It also has been a good excuse to do a bit of house cleaning on the site.

Firstly, I have cleaned up any problems I noticed like, in particular, large landscape shots were not displaying correctly at thumbnail size and now they do.
I also have added a page with a full display of all the photos on my site. Its something I always meant to do and this problem has been a catalyst to get me moving on this feature. One thing to note: As there are so many images on this page it may take a while to load initially but after that it shouldn't be as slow to reload.

If you could do me a favour? If you do notice anything that doesn't seem right, please email me.

Thanks, Colors Inc

Nice and bright! I was lucky, it could have so easily not worked.
