There are plenty of really exciting things happening at the moment.

The job hunting is going really well. There are plenty of really interesting and challenging (potential) roles around this region. Who would have thought that the Midlands is such a hub for graphic design? I really hope soon to get a rewarding position where I can grow professionally and really take my work to the next level. I wouldn't say 'no' to another award or two either. ; )

With that in mind, today's shot is from the archive and represents the portal to bigger and brighter things…

It also gave me a chance to play with the puppet warp in the rather excellent Photoshop CS5.

When are we going back there?

Was that the view on the way to our snooker matches or were we heading for breakfast and sparkling wine?

I should have said 'heading'!

Way too much sparkling wine, huh?

You can never have too much sparkling wine.

(Don't worry, I have edited your first post.)

I don't really remember when I took the shot. I think it was in the middle of the day when I went off on one of my wanders with the camera.

It all seems far too long ago now…
