Centre stage

I'd like to tell you we had a rubbish time on our holiday in Tenerife the past week but that would be a lie. :)

Myself, Em and Nik went with her parents to a little, sleepy bay called Los Gigantes, up the west coast of the island. It is a beautifully tranquil place, with windy (yes, both kinds) roads and a lovely little harbour, packed with fish, that go absolutely nuts when you feed them — much to Emily's delight!

As usual, I took an assortment of photographic equipment which I really didn't use as much as I had intended. It was a very relaxing, lazy break, apart from one excursion down Masca valley on one day.

For that trip I mostly shot video, more than anything else because Nik's dad wasn't feeling great and I thought it might go some way to filling in for him missing the trip.

Today's shot was taken toward the end of the trip. Much earlier than when I took this. I just love the composition on this and the light. It was later in the day and really strong, warm and bright.
