I haven't posted anything for a while and with good reason.

Firstly, after I installed some display drivers on the PC installation of my Mac Pro, Vista crashed and somehow managed to break my OS X installation!? (I think this was because I had a program called Macdrive running which allows the PC drive to read my MAC files). As I repaired the damage with Time Machine, the startup drive I had reformatted didn't show up on the restoration interface (while the PC drive did) and I accidently nuked my Vista installation. So I had to reinstall both on my computer and repair the damage done to the system.

The long and the short of it? I lost about 5 days worth of photo data and NIk lost some university work. It could have been worse but it has taken until now to sort out.

To top it all my laptop overheated (I think) Monday and it crashed which somehow corrupted that Mac OS and I had to restore it too.

All in all it's not been a good week for computers here. So what ever you do, if you ever have an IT problem, just don't ask me to help! :)

Another repercussion of this is that I haven't been shooting much so I have nothing new to post. Today's shot was taken while I waited for Nik to run for charity a few weeks ago. There's nothing much to it really but beggars can't be choosers, I am afraid.

Thinking about it I suppose I should have posted a firework shot considering the date. Maybe I will at the weekend as we are having everyone over for a firework display and I always end up taking shots.
