It's been a while since I've posted anything.

I had been getting a little frustrated with my processing (and shooting).

As luck would have it — really perfect timing — my friend Ian Bursill (2014 Wedding Industry Awards Regional Winner) put me on to a new website with loads of Photoshop actions and, more importantly, a whole array of lessons aimed at getting more from your images but in a very intuitive way. Rather than just sticking to what the PS interface offers, it helps you get back to the basics of imaging and make corrections to your work in a more logical and scietific (and calculable) way. It also helps automate (or speed up) workflow, something I should have done years ago.

I'm still going through the site but hopefully it should improve my images in the long run and get me back more time to spend shooting rather than processing!

Which only leads me to say, thank you Ian! I do still need to come and see your workflow. :)

Today's shot is a snapshot from when we were away in the New Forest. My little girl's been ill and finally is on the mend, so I thought I'd post something nice of her.
