I had a great time on Sunday at the Tiger's stadium in Leicester.

I took along the D800 and from the stands took a fair few shots of the sports action.

Considering one of the main weaknesses of the camera being its max frame rate, I found it very easy to anticipate the action. It could be because I'm used to balancing 6/fps (from my previous camera, the D200), it wasn't that alien to not have your camera go off like a gatling gun.

But, on to one of the best things about this camera; Its massive resolution! Today's shot is cropped in on under a third of the RAW shot, yet you can still see amazing detail. Brilliant!
