I haven't been updating the site much recently, as you can see.

1.) I have been busy with work, birthdays, anniversaries, sorting a holiday and a whole host of other things.

2.) There has been something else occupying much of my time; Motorbikes!

Since I got ill, or rather, diagnosed with Crohn's disease this year I've had an epiphany. All the procrastination I was indulging in, I have swept away, and rather I have been living far more for the moment.

I always wanted to ride a bike and I didn't for various reasons. When I was younger, and my family had more sway over me, they put me off. Later on, I'll admit it, I was too lazy. There always seemed to be a great reason not to do it and one thing being ill has taught me is that if you really want something you should go for it! Robin Williams put it best in The Dead Poet's Society. 'We are food for worms…' and, ultimately, if you want to do something in your life the only thing stoping you, is you.

I know, I know. A cliché. But at least for the moment it's my mindset. And after all, all we really are is creatures of the moment.

Today's shot was taken a while back in Stonehurst farm. Another example of my bike interest that I missed. I took shots of all the cars but really spent far more time going over the motorbikes. This is one of the shots from that day.
